Baylor women's soccer open practice hoping to build on 2017
The Baylor women's soccer team is the first team at Baylor to open workouts for the fall season. They open hoping to build on the best season in program history.
Last year Baylor went to the final 8 teams in the NCAA Tournament before ending their season with a loss to Notre Dame. Now, the goal at Baylor is to build on that.
Head coach Paul Jobson says part one of that process is to realize this year's team is not last year's team. There are new players, the roster is different, and they are starting over. There is talent back from that team last year and that's a plus according to Jobson. There are also some young players that could impact the program immediately as freshmen.
Baylor will have only two weeks of workouts before the first game of the season on August 16th.
