WACO, Texas Baylor junior catcher and All-American Shea Langeliers is out of action for a few weeks while he recovers from a broken bone in his wrist.
Langeliers broke the bone during the 4-game series sweep of Holy Cross this past weekend. It's a small bone but will take weeks to heal. Langeliers is expected to miss the rest of non-conference play. His return is expected at the start of Big 12 play depending on how quickly he heals.
Langeliers earned several preseason All-America honors this year and is a highly ranked MLB Draft prospect for June. He's a leader for the Bears both offensively and defensively as well.
