WACO, Texas Killeen native Shannon Bogues led SFA with 21 points Tuesday night including the game winner as the Lumberjacks beat Baylor 59-58.
Bogues had a big night on the road in front of family and friends. He finished with 21 points and 5 assists to lead SFA offensively. He scored the final 5 points in the game to lock up the win hitting a three in the next to last possession of the game to cut Baylor's lead to 1, then a driving layup as time expired to give the Lumberjacks the 59-58 victory on the road.
Baylor was led by Tristan Clark who had a really good offensive night with 24 points on nine of nine shooting from the field. Clark also grabbed 7 rebounds while Mark Vital had 7 points and 12 rebounds for the Bears.
With the loss Baylor falls to 6-4 on the season overall, they'll return to action at home Friday night against Oregon.
