SHENANDOAH, Texas The Cameron Yoe football team saw its season end in an overtime thriller to East Chambers Friday night. The Yoemen failed to convert an extra point in overtime and that proved to be the difference in a 35-34 loss.
The Yoemen trailed much of the night but rallied from two touchdowns down to tie the game in the 4th quarter. They had a chance to win the game in regulation but a field goal in the final minutes was blocked by East Chambers.
In overtime, the Yoemen scored first but failed to convert the extra point. East Chambers followed with a touchdown of their own then made the extra point to win in overtime 35-34.
