WACO, Texas (KWTX) Jared Butler scored a game-high 30 points to lead the No. 16 Baylor Bears to a season-opening 105-61 win over the Central Arkansas Bears.

Butler was one of four Baylor players in double figures. The sophomore sank 8-of-12 three-point attempts and also finished with five assists.
Baylor (1-0) began the game on a 19-0 run highlighted by a streak of three consecutive buckets from Devonte Bandoo, who finished the game with 15 points and seven rebounds.
Macio Teague had 18 points and 10 rebounds in his Baylor debut, while Freddie Gillespie pitched in with 14 points and seven boards.
Baylor returns to action Fri., Nov. 8, against the Washington Huskies in the Armed Forces Classic in Anchorage, Alaska.
