Cowboys lose to Redskins in nail-biter

LANDOVER, Maryland A week after scoring 40 points against the Jaguars the Dallas Cowboys (3-4) only manage 17 against the Washington Redskins (4-2), losing by a final score of 20-17.

The Cowboys had a chance to send the game into overtime, but Brett Maher missed a 52-yard field goal as time expired. Dallas is now 0-4 on the road this season.

Dak Prescott threw for 273 yards and a touchdown, and added 33 yards and a score on the ground. Ezekiel Elliot only managed 34 yards rushing on 15 carries.

Dallas will now have a bye before taking on the Tennessee Titans on Monday Night Football on November 5th.
