Exactly one year after K.D. Cannon set career-highs in receptions (14) and receiving yards (226) at Baylor, the former Bears wide receiver has signed a contract to join the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.

He also had two touchdowns in Baylor's 31-12 win over Boise State in the Cactus Bowl in 2016.

Cannon, who has spent time with the San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and New York Jets organizations so far this year, declared for the NFL Draft hours after being named Cactus Bowl MVP, citing the best interests of his family.
