Kalani Brown drafted 7th in WNBA Draft, Chloe Jackson taken 15th

NEW YORK, New York Baylor's Kalani Brown is the 7th pick in this year's WNBA Draft taken early in round one by the Los Angeles Sparks. 8 picks later, Chloe Jackson was drafted in round two by Chicago.

Brown is just days removed from an outstanding performance as Baylor won the Women's National Championship in Tampa, Florida. Now, she'll take the next step in her career in Los Angeles with the Sparks.

Los Angeles has a talented roster, led by Candace Parker who has been a WNBA star for several years.

Guard Chloe Jackson was also taken in the draft, Jackson went early in the second round to the Chicago Sky. Jackson is the 15th overall pick and the third pick in the second round.

Brown is one of the all-time greats in Baylor history. She is a 3-time All-American including this season as a senior. She's a Big 12 player of the year, and now she's a national champion after Baylor's win over Notre Dame. Jackson played one year at Baylor as a grad transfer and had a huge game in Baylor's championship win over Notre Dame.
