Baylor Lady Bear senior Kristy Wallace has been drafted by the WNBA's Atlanta Dream with the 16th overall pick.

Wallace is the 4th pick in the second round of this year's draft, taken by the same Atlanta team that selected Baylor point guard Niya Johnson two years ago.

Wallace was having a big senior season for Baylor before suffering a season ending knee injury on senior night in the Ferrell Center. She has undergone surgery to repair that knee.

Texas senior Ariel Atkins was a first round pick, Atkins was taken by Washington with the 7th overall selection in the first round.
