LSU says no A/C in visitor's locker room during Texas game

Reports had the field at McLane stadium on Saturday at around 180-degrees, before Baylor dismantled UTSA 63-14.

However, things might have been even more uncomfortable down I-35 for LSU in Austin.

ESPN reports LSU’S victory on the road against the Longhorns came without the benefit of an air-conditioned visitor’s locker room.

At least that’s according to Tigers Head Coach Ed Orgeron.

Orgeron told reporters yesterday that he was tipped off to the lack of air conditioning by Louisiana Tech.

They played at Texas a week earlier.

So LSU called an audible and brought their own portable fans to cool things off.

The temperature at kickoff was around 95-degrees and several Tigers’ players had to leave the game because of cramping.

Texas athletic director Chris Del Conte issued a statement following Orgeron's comments, saying it was the "first we've heard of any issues in that area."

LSU won the game 45-38.
