Lady Bears thump Texas behind a career high from Wallace

Kristy Wallace scored 27 points for the Lady Bears as they hammered Texas in the Ferrell Center 81-56 Thursday night.
The Lady Bears took control of the game right from the outset. Baylor outscored the Lady Horns by 10 in the first quarter of the game to set the tone for the night.
Kristy Wallace had a huge night leading the Baylor offense. Wallace scored a career high 27 points in the victory with four assists. She had a big night but the Lady Bears had balance as well.
Lauren Cox and Kalani Brown each chipped in 17 points offensively as well.
Brooke McCarty led Texas with 16 points in the game.
The victory keeps Baylor alone in first place in the Big 12 and pushes Texas two games behind Baylor in the standings.
