Mueller, Thomas help Baylor avoid sweep against Nebraska

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Mack Mueller and Andy Thomas each had three hits and three RBIs to lead the Baylor Bears to a 10-3 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers Sunday afternoon.

Josh Bissonette and Richard Cunningham also had three hits, and helped out with one RBI.

Shea Langeliers returned to the lineup as Baylor's designated hitter after missing nearly a month because of a hand injury. The junior catcher had two hits in five at-bats and scored a run.

Davion Downey was another one of six Bears with multi-hit efforts.

Jimmy Winston earned the win in relief, pitching three shutout innings and striking out three.

Baylor (10-4) will host Abilene Christian Wednesday at 6:35 p.m.
