No. 2 Lady Bears close regular-season home slate with win over Texas

WACO, Texas (KWTX) Te'a Cooper scored a game-high 20 points, and Lauren Cox helped out with 17 points and 12 rebounds in the No. 2 Baylor Lady Bears' 69-53 win over the Texas Longhorns Thursday night.

Baylor (28-1) earned its 21st-straight win on Senior Night. Former La Vega standout Juicy Landrum, who missed all 10 shots from the field, picked up all six of her points at the free-throw line in her final regular-season game at the Ferrell Center.

For the second time this season, Texas (18-11) had just one player score in double-figures against Baylor. Audrey Warren led the Longhorns with 10 points.
