TCU beats Baylor 45-22 in Bears' season finale

FORT WORTH, Texas The Baylor Bears dropped their final game of the 2017 season at TCU Friday, 45-22.

With the loss Baylor falls to 1-11 on the season. TCU earns a berth in the Big 12 Championship game with the win over the Bears.

Kenny Hill threw for 325 yards and three touchdown for the Horned Frogs in a winning effort. Hill also ran for a touchdown for TCU. The Horned Frogs outscored Baylor 24-3 in the second half to pull away for the 23 point victory.

Baylor scored the first 9 points of the game thanks to a sack and safety on TCU's first possession then a touchdown pass from Charlie Brewer to Blake Lynch in the ensuing possession.

Brewer was under constant pressure from the TCU defense. He still threw for 301 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Brewer and Zach Smith, who came in late because of an injury to Brewer, were sacked a combined 9 times by TCU defenders. 6 sacks came from Mat Boesen alone.

TCU will face Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game. Baylor's season is over at 1-11.
