Texas hoping Ehlinger can play at Oklahoma State

AUSTIN, Texas The Texas Longhorns are waiting until later in the week to decide who will start at quarterback this weekend at Oklahoma State. Sam Ehlinger is throwing but his shoulder may not be ready enough to start for Texas.

The Longhorns are unbeaten in Big 12 play this season thanks largely to the play of Ehlinger. He was injured a few weeks ago and it was Shane Buechele that led Texas over Baylor before the bye week.

Texas head coach Tom Herman says the Longhorns won't know until later in the week which QB will start as they evaluate Ehlinger's shoulder and his ability to make the throws he has to make for the offense to work.
