The Cru responded late in the first quarter when Jase Hammack hit T.J. Josey for a 36 yard touchdown to make it 10-7.

UMHB scored again in the second when Markeith Miller ran it in from a couple of yards out to make it a 14-13 UMHB lead at the half.

The touchdown was Miller's 30th this season.

UMHB extended their lead in the second half. Hammack threw a second TD pass this one to K.J. Miller to put UMHB up 24-13 in the 4th.
