UMHB smacks Berry to advance in NCAA D-III playoffs

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) Markeith Miller rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns to become the American Southwest Conference's all-time rushing yardage leader in the UMHB Crusaders' 75-9 win over the Berry Vikings Saturday.

UMHB (12-0) tallied 575 yards of total offense, with 370 of those coming via the ground game.

The Crusaders will play Saint John's University in the third round of the NCAA D-III playoffs Sat., December 1, at noon. The game location will be announced later.
