CEDAR PARK, Texas (KWTX) A $227 million jackpot-winning ticket in Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing was sold at Lakeline Express Mart in Cedar Park, the Texas Lottery announced Wednesday.

The purchaser, who has not yet claimed the jackpot, selected the cash value option, which means the ticket is worth $157,091,592, the largest prize ever paid out to a single Texas Lottery player.

The winner has 180 days in which to claim the jackpot.

“If you have the winning ticket, we encourage you to sign the ticket, put it in a safe place, seek financial and legal advice, and call the Texas Lottery before coming to Austin to claim the prize,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery. This
