Dispute over mail sparks standoff in Bryan neighborhood

BRYAN, Tex. (KBTX)- Updated at 1:38 a.m. Tuesday.

A standoff ended early Tuesday morning in a neighborhood near Tanglewood Park.

Police officers were called to the 800 block of Tanglewood Drive early in the evening after 36-year-old Jeannette Castillo threatened her neighbor with a gun.

That neighbor caught the interaction on camera and called police.

When they arrived, Castillo refused to come out of her home. An arrest warrant was signed several hours into the standoff.

Throughout the night a second woman in the home, 60-year-old Linda Campbell-Hall, yelled several obscenities and pulled her pants down to 'moon' officers.

That standoff ended at around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, when police took the two women into custody.

Castillo is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Campbell-Hall is charged with interference with public duties.
