KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A ninth grade student at Killeen High School was in juvenile detention and facing a felony charge Wednesday after scrawling threats against classmates on a restroom door.
“Any student who makes a threat against the school will be charged with a felony and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” Killeen Superintendent John Craft said.
“Our students must understand we are serious about this.”
Campus officers arrested the 15-year-old, who’s facing a felony terroristic threat charge, Killeen ISD spokesman Terry Abbott said.
The school’s principal, Kara Trevino, notified parents about the arrest in a phone call.
“Parents, please help us by talking to your children about this serious crime,” she said during the call.
