BELTON, Texas (KWTX) Two Medal of Honor recipients spoke to an estimated 5,000 Killeen ISD students and teachers Tuesday as part of a Tribute To Valor program at the Bell County Expo Center.

Gary Littrell was honored for valor in Vietnam and David Bellavia for heroism in the Iraq War.

They spoke to the students about integrity and doing the right thing, even when no one's looking.

"I lean in on integrity more than anything else," Littrell said.

"I tell them an individual without integrity is a body without a soul."

Bellavia says that he hopes to inspire students to live with courtesy and to respect others.

"I've gotten more out of this than the kids have," he said.

"Because this award represents one day in your life. But you have to earn it every day."
