Glass is majoring in Christian studies and art, but her passion is sharing her faith with others.

“I think that it’s probably the most important thing,” she said.

“By sharing my faith with others, I can make a difference.”

Since arriving on campus last year, Glass has made a series of mission trips to such far flung places as Guatemala, Peru, and Ukraine.

She helped in construction work, giving clothes to the local children, and sharing her faith.

The trips aren’t cheap, however.

And she’s using her talent to help pay for them, selling her creations to friends and family members.

“I thought, well I’m making art and I really love doing it,” she said.

“Why can’t I sell it to fund-raise and go on missions?”

She’s about halfway to her goal in raising money another trip to Ukraine.

But in the end, she’s just happy to make a difference in other people’s lives.

“That’s why I have such a big passion for missions and even art,” she said.

“It’s a way to express myself and my faith.”
