KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Marcia Jadonna Burchett, 28, was in the Bell County Jail Friday afternoon charged with murder in connection with a stabbing in June in Killeen that left another woman dead.

Bond on the murder charge was set at $1 million, police said.

She’s also held on an unrelated injury to a child charge, bond on which was set at $100,000, police said.

Burchett, who’s 4-foot-11 and weighs 110 pounds, according to online jail records, was arrested Friday afternoon on a warrant stemming from the June 9 attack at a home in the 2800 block of Phoenix Drive in Killeen that left Heather Mae Walker, 29, dead.

Officers responded to the address after receiving a 911 report of a possible cardiac victim was not breathing.

After they arrived, they discovered that Walker had been stabbed repeatedly.
