Temple: Bonds total $505,000 for stabbing suspect

TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) Bonds total $505,000 for a suspect in an early-morning stabbing Friday in Temple that sent the victim to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Brandon Joseph Conaway, 23, of Belton, remains in the Bell County Jail charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

He’s also held on an unrelated evading arrest warrant.

The victim’s condition remains unchanged, police said Monday.

Officers responded at around 4:45 a.m. Friday to the CEFCO store at 605 North 3rd St. where they found the victim, who was taken to Scott & White Medical Center.

Investigators think the stabbing occurred in the 600 block of North 13th St.
