GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) A Gatesville attorney posted bond and was released from the Hidalgo County Jail after his arrest on two fugitive warrants issued in Coryell County.

Joe Hinojosa Rodriguez was arrested by Hidalgo police on Sunday after officers learned he was named in two felony fugitive warrants issued in Gatesville after a special prosecutor launched an investigation involving Rodriguez and his sister that resulted in indictments against the two for breach of computer storage and unlawful restraint.

Rodriguez was booked into the Hidalgo County Jail Sunday and was released Monday after posting $10,000 bond.

Because of a conflict of interest, prosecutors in Coryell County have recused themselves from the case and 21st Judicial District Attorney Julie Renken of Brenham was named special prosecutor.

Rodriguez is a 2005 graduate of the Ohio Northern University Law School, according to a Texas Bar Association online profile that shows no disciplinary history.
