Central Texas man dies in one-vehicle crash

BELTON, Texas (KWTX) A Central Texas man died after his car veered off FM 493 in Belton, hit a patch of gravel, crossed both lanes of traffic and struck a group of trees, authorities said Friday.

Christopher Davonte Dilling, 27, of Copperas Cove was driving east on FM 439 at the time of the accident, which was reported just before 10 p.m. Thursday.

He was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene.
