AUSTIN, Texas (KWTX) A Leander resident has claimed a $227 million Mega Millions jackpot prize that’s the largest ever paid out to a single lottery player in the state.

The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, picked the cash value option for the Sept. 24 drawing and will receive $157,091,592.

The winning quick-pick ticket was purchased at Lakeline Express Mart in Cedar Park.

The retailer will receive a $1 million bonus.

The winning numbers were 6-14-24-42-46 and the Mega Ball was 9.
