Central Texas teen charged after shots fired at cars, home

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) A Killeen teenager has been charged with deadly conduct/discharging a firearm after gunshots struck cars and a home last Thursday morning in Harker Heights, police said Monday.

Brandon Lockhart, 18, was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond

Officers who responded at around 10:10 a.m. Thursday to a report of gunfire in the 600 block of Mustang Trail discovered bullet holes in two vehicles and determined that a bullet smashed through the window of a home and into the wall of an interior room, police said.

Lockhart was arrested just before 2 p.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of Dewitt Drive in Killeen.

No injuries were reported.
