Ellis Air Services installed a new heating system at Roxanne Campbell's home in Copperas Cove just before Christmas.

Roxanne is a single mom with two daughters and works for Copperas Cove schools.

She was nominated in the KWTX Cozy Christmas contest by Mark Easter.

And Evergreen Heating and Air installed a new system in the Waco home of Gilbert Bekkelund last week.

Gilbert is a disabled veteran.

He and his wife are raising two grandchildren and they were using space heaters to keep warm because their system needed costly repairs.

“I'm feeling blessed. I thank God for what you all have done and Evergreen and KWTX for selecting me as a winner of the contest,” said Bekkelund,

Bekkelund was nominated by Heidi Martinez and Ava Boehme.

(KWTX would like to thank viewers for the dozens of nominations we received for the Cozy Christmas contest. A panel made up of representatives from local charities selected the winners.)
