"We are so torn up, part of us has just been ripped in two," Tennison’s father, Jimmy, said Monday.
The Department of Public Safety is investigating the deadly crash, but Tennison said Monday alcohol was found in the wreckage of the truck.
"The initial investigation is that they found alcohol so we know there's alcohol was involved and we know that three 16 year olds didn't walk in and buy it, I know that."
“It did not have to happen and all I can do is let the investigation take its place and let the authorities do their job and we will get justice,” he said.
Two hundred people showed up on the Gatesville Hornets Stadium Sunday night to remember the two teenagers.
"I've got to go back to work. I drive a truck and I've got to deal with being alone with my own thoughts and all that and deal with it, it's going to be hard,” he said.
