GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) The Gatesville ISD is warning parents after a custodian at one of its campuses has been charged with “possession of lewd visual material depicting a child,” the district said in a Facebook post.
The district said the material was found on a personal device at the custodian’s home, and that no inappropriate activity happened on school property.
The district said the employee, whom authorities identified as Curtis Pruitt, 55, was placed on leave while the investigation into the material continues.
Pruitt was in the Coryell County Jail Thursday charged with two counts of possession/promotion of lewd visual material depicting a child.
His bonds total $15,000.
