KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Bell County Crime Stoppers is asking the public for information that could help investigators solve the death of a woman inside a Killeen motel.

On June 3, 2019, Killeen police officers responded to the Days Inn at 1602 East Central Texas Expressway after a woman was found "unconscious and not breathing."

Chelsea Lynell Cheatham, 32, was pronounced dead by Justice of the Peace Daryl Peters.

At the time, it was unknown whether Lynell died of natural causes.

Peters ordered an autopsy and, months later, the manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have seen anything or has information about this case to contact Crime Stoppers at (254) 526-TIPS (8477).
