WEST, Texas (KWTX) A driver of a SUV was killed Wednesday morning after crashing on I-35 and then being hit by a semi-truck.

Sgt. Ryan Howard with the Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash occurred just before 5:45 a.m. near the intersection with County Line Road.

Howard said Michael Forseth, 39, of McGregor was driving the SUV when he lost control on the wet road and crashed into a concrete barrier.

After that a passing big rig hit the SUV, ejecting Forseth and killing them.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt.
