(KWTX) Repairs on a cut fiber optic line that caused outages in Hamilton County, Gatesville, and Killeen were completed early Friday.

CenturyLink advised the Central Texas Council of Governments that the line had been repaired at around 1:30 a.m. Friday.

The cut in the line affected landline 911 calls in Hamilton County, Gatesville in Coryell County and parts of Killeen in Bell County.

CTCOG advised Century Link customers to use cellphones in the event they needed to call 911.
