That sentiment rings especially true for first responders.

Monday the hard-working men and women at the Killeen Fire Department and the Temple Police Department got a special delivery.

The Olive Garden locations in both cities stopped by with a free hot, lunch.

"We want to let everyone know that we do support our community, and a good way of showing that is little things like this," says Killeen restaurant manager Gregory Laguerre.

This is the 18th year the restaurant chain has provided a free meal, and since the beginning, they have served 14,000 meals.
