FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) Fort Hood MPs responded to “a family disturbance call” early Tuesday morning in a post housing area, but said the incident was “not any threat to the community.”

Officials asked residents to stay out of the area after officers responded just before 7:45 a.m. Tuesday to the unspecified incident in the Comanche II housing area, which is near three Killeen ISD schools.

The scene was cleared just after 11:15 a.m.

“The investigation revealed that no crime had occurred. There were no injuries and no apprehensions were made,” the post said.

A Killeen ISD spokesperson didn’t immediately return a call seeking information about whether lockdowns were implemented at nearby Audie Murphy Middle School, Duncan Elementary School or Oveta Culp Hobby Elementary School.

No further details have been released.
