FORT HOOD, Texas (KWTX) A man was allowed to post bond and was released Tuesday after a federal judge arraigned him in a case that involves injury to a child younger than 14 on Fort Hood.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeffrey C. Manske allowed Cedric Alexander Arman to post a $25,000 bond and be released after he arraigned Arman for assault resulting in bodily injury (victim younger than 14-years-old), but did not set a date for a subsequent hearing.

A federal indictment that accompanied documents issued Tuesday says on June 5, 2018, on the Fort Hood Military Reservation, Arman “caused bodily injury to H.C., a child younger than 14 years of age, by throwing H.C. against a floor.”

The injuries the child suffered were not detailed in the indictment.

Arman was arrested last Thursday and jailed awaiting his appearance Tuesday, court records show.
