LLANO COUNTY, Texas (KWTX) State game wardens arrested five people on felony charges after the responding to a shots fired call at a Llano County lake house.

Llano County game wardens and deputies responded on Feb. 8 to a shots fired call after a resident reported an individual in a subdivision was shooting an automatic rifle at a buoy in the lake, a report from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department says

There are several houses in the area and several boats moored in the water nearby, the report says.

Wardens located a rental house with eight people inside, one of whom admitted he had fired the shots and then hidden the rifle inside the house.

The residents consented to a search of the house, which turned up the weapon, along with several bags of marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms and a number of Adderall pills for which no one had a prescription, according to the report.

The release says five of the eight in the house were arrested on charges ranging from third-degree felony possession of marijuana and deadly conduct to second-degree felony possession of controlled substance.
