ROUND ROCK, Texas (KWTX) A juvenile was in custody Friday afternoon following a threat to “shoot up” a Round Rock ISD middle school.

The threat was directed at Deerpark Middle School at 8849 Anderson Mill Rd., in Austin.

No weapons were found when the juvenile was taken into custody, the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

“We believe this is an isolated incident and do not believe anyone in danger at this time,” the sheriff’s office said.

Williamson County deputies will have a larger presence at the school next week as a precaution and to ease parents’ concerns, the sheriff’s office said.
