KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Cynthia Wilson, 45, of Killeen, who’s charged in a neighborhood shooting that sent another woman to a local hospital in critical condition remained behind bars Monday in lieu of $200,000 bond.

Wilson was booked into the Bell County Jail on Saturday.

The charge stems from a shooting Thursday night.

Officers were sent at around 7:45 p.m. to the 2800 block of Larissa Drive where they found a 47-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound.

She was flown to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple in critical condition.

The preliminary investigation revealed the victim and suspect were involved in an argument that turned physical.

During the fight, the victim was shot and the suspect fled to a nearby residence and barricaded herself.

She surrendered after a 15-minute standoff and was arrested without incident.
