Killeen: Burned-out blower motor activates high school fire alarm

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Ellison High School in Killeen was evacuated Friday after a burned-out AC blower motor activated the school’s fire alarm.

The fire alarm sounded at around 2:30 0.m. Friday after the blower motor on an air conditioning unit in the school’s science lab burned out.

Students and staff returned to the building after firefighters determined there wasn’t a safety concern.
