KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) The Killeen Community Center will be opened as a warming center at 8 p.m. Tuesday as temperatures again fall below freezing.

The center is at 2201 East Veterans memorial Blvd.

“The warming station is set up to offer temporary relief from cold and does not offer full sheltering services,” the city said in a press release.

Temperatures in the Killeen area are expected to drop into the mid-20s overnight.

The city opened the center to those seeking refuge from the cold Monday night, as well.
