KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A Killeen man accused of drugging and raping a woman more than three years ago after a club party was indicted Wednesday for sexual assault.

Xavier Lavoie Mason, 32, was arrested in August 2019 on a warrant stemming from an investigation of the alleged rape, which was reported on Aug. 16, 2016.

The victim told police she went to a party for a club to which she and Mason both belonged.

As she was getting into her car to leave after the party ended, an arrest warrant affidavit says, Mason asked her if she would like to return to the residence because he wanted “to show her something.”

Once the victim was inside the house, the affidavit says Mason fixed her a drink “while she was in a different room.”

After having some of the drink the victim lost all memory of what happened until “she woke up to (the) suspect being on top of her,” the affidavit says.

The victim also told investigators she heard Mason say “he really should not be doing this,” the affidavit says.

When the victim woke up again, her underwear and shorts were around her ankles and she was bleeding.

The victim reported the rape to the club’s vice president who called police.

A forensic exam showed semen on the victim’s underwear.
