The bags contained such items as skin cosmetics and lotions, blankets, gift cards, and even some jewelry.

Children dealing with cancer were also given special boxes with the same items, but also with toys and sweets for a little early Christmas gift.

“Being able to help in giving back is amazing,” said Julie Moser, executive director of the Pink Warrior Angels of Texas.

“We want to ensure and remind people when a cancer patient is going through treatment. They’re not alone.”

The bags are part of the nonprofit organization’s one million acts of kindness on Giving Tuesday Military.
