KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A suspect was in custody Thursday charged in connection with a hit-and-run in February in Killeen that left a man seriously injured.

Norlan Ricardo Perez-Corrales was held without bond Thursday in the McLennan County Jail, charged with accident involving serious bodily injury/failure to stop and render aid, Killeen police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said.

Officers who responded just before 11 p.m. on Feb. 26 to the hit-and-run in the 1100 block of Old FM 440 Road determined the victim was struck while walking in the roadway.

Investigators obtained video footage and identified the vehicle that struck the man as a white two-tone Ford F-250 or F-350 4X4 crew cab pickup truck, with an extended bed and a large head rack on its roof.
