KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A suspect in a shooting on Nov. 16 in Killeen that sent a male victim to a local hospital and prompted a high school lockdown was indicted Wednesday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Damani Joseph Bisio, 22, remains in the Bell County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bond.
Officers responded to the shooting at just after 1 p.m. Nov. 16 in the 4600 block of Windcrest Drive, where they found the victim lying in a driveway, police spokeswoman Ofelia Miramontez said at the time.
He was taken to Scott & White Medical Center in Temple.
After a preliminary investigation, police determined the shooting was the result of an argument, Miramontez said.
The lockdown at Shoemaker was initiated at around 2 p.m. and was lifted at around 2:35 p.m., the district said.
