Killeen: Teacher wins two teacher-of-the-year awards

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) A Killeen ISD educator has won two teacher-of-the-year awards.

Brenda Drawdy, who has worked for the Killeen ISD for the last 16 of her 46 years in education and teaches at the KISD Career Center, was named Texas Industrial Vocational Association Teacher of the Year and Texas Association for Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Year.

“Ms. Drawdy makes a huge difference in the lives of our students every day. She deserves these awards. We’re proud of her,” Superintendent John Craft said.
