Killeen: Three indicted for murder in deadly shooting

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) Three men were indicted for murder Wednesday in connection with a shooting in Killeen in June that left a Central Texas man dead.

Luis Angel Santiago, 28, died at Seton Medical Center Harker Heights after he was hit by shots fired from a car on June 18 in the 1900 block of Fleetwood Drive near the intersection with Greengate Drive west of Hay Branch Elementary School.

Shyheem Jubar Washington, 20, Gervard Washington, 46, and David Madden, 21, were all indicted in connection with the deadly shooting.

Madden was also indicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in connection to a shooting on May 30 in the 2800 block of Lake Road that left the victim injured.

All three remain jailed.

Their bonds were set at $1 million each on the murder charge

A 15-year-old boy was also arrested after the shooting.

His name was not released because of his age.
