Killeen: Woman sought in check theft

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) The Bell County Sheriff’s Department Friday released surveillance photos of a woman wanted in connection with the theft of a check, which was later cashed.

The theft of the check, which was mailed to the victim, but was never received, was reported on Wednesday.

Investigators determined it was cashed just after 1 p.m. the day before at a Go-N-Cash check cashing store at 1407 South Fort Hood St. in Killeen by a woman who used a fake temporary driver’s license bearing the victim’s name and address.
