High Quality Collision Center on North 8th St. held its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting, visit from Mayor Jose Segarra, food and several giveaways.

Kayla Martin who won a free Chevy Malibu has six kids and another due in October.

She says she lost her last job because of the trouble she had getting to work without a vehicle. The owners of the shop say they are happy to help her and her family get around.

"We are here to not take but to give back to the community as well," says co-owner Ronald Cooke.

"We wanted to do something for a family in need, and as people come to our facility, we want them to feel welcome and know that we're here to help," he adds.

The shop owners moved to the area a couple of years ago after wife and co-owner Hope Cooke started working on Fort Hood.

The couples says they help to have more giveaways in the near future.
